CLUB TJUANA 0-0 AMÉRICA (Marcador Final)
JORNADA 13 LIGA MX-CLAUSURA 2017
Tijuana, Baja California, 7 de marzo de 2017._ El Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente empató sin goles ante el Club América en el duelo correspondiente a la Fecha 13 de la LIGA MX-CL17, encuentro que se disputó este viernes en el Estadio Caliente.
Durante el primer tiempo, los Rojinegros generaron varias jugadas de peligro, la más importante al minuto 11, cuando Ignacio Malcorra sacó un zurdazo que pasó ligeramente por encima del arco.
En tanto, Club América estuvo cerca de abrir el marcador al 39’ tras disparo de Oribe Peralta que pasó desviado.
En la parte complementaria, los Canes Aztecas continuaron aproximándose al arco rival. Agustín Marchesín atajó un disparo de Joe Corona al 71’. Los Rojinegros estuvieron cerca de conseguir la victoria tras un cabezazo de Martín Lucero que pasó por un costado de la portería (85’).
Tras este resultado, los Xoloitzcuintles suman 19 unidades en el torneo. Ahora los Rojinegros se enfocan en el duelo pendiente de la Jornada 10, en el que visitarán a Club Querétaro el próximo miércoles 12 de abril. (19:00 horas Tiempo del Centro de México).

CLUB TIJUANA TIES VS. CLUB AMERICA IN WEEK 13 HOME MATCH
Xoloitzcuintles earn another point in the LIGA MX 2017 Clausura standings
TIJUANA (April 7, 2017) –Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles played to a scoreless tie against visiting Club America in a Week 13 match Friday at Estadio Caliente.
Led by assistant coach Diego Ramirez, Club Tijuana generated many scoring opportunities but was not able find the net in the LIGA MX 2017 Clausura match. The Xoloitzcuintles earns a point in the standings. Club Tijuana is now 5-3-4 with 19 points in the Mexican league table with five games left in the regular season.
The Xoloitzcuintles defense was able to keep Club America from finding many scoring chances. Goalkeeper Gibran Lajud didn’t see many dangerous plays from the Mexico City team that came into the match as the No. 7 team in the standings.
Club Tijuana was able to generate a fluid brand of soccer that helped push its attack to the oppositions side of the field but it could not find the net. Aviles Hurtado had a couple of opportunities against a Club America team that typically attacks. Against the Xoloitzcuintles, America played back and defended for the later part of the match. That’s when assistant coach Diego Ramirez directed his Club Tijuana team to push the lines up and attack.
Joe Corona had a couple of opportunities late in the match, firing shots off blocked balls. Corona nearly beat Club America goalkeeper Agustin Marchesin with a low shot to the right but the Argentine goalkeeper got a hand on it and stopped it.
Second half substitute Matias Pisano got a head on a corner kick and sent it just wide of the right post late in the second half. Club Tijuana could not find the net. The Xoloitzcuintles will now face Queretaro FC Wednesday April 12 in a Week 10 match. It is a makeup game that was originally scheduled for March 11 but postponed due to a league-wide referee strike at the time.
