La categoría Sub 17 cayó 2-0 mientras que la Sub 20 lo hizo 1-0.
San Nicolás de los Garza, Nuevo León._ Las categorías juveniles del
Club Tijuana enfrentaron esta mañana a sus similares de Tigres de la
UANL, en el marco de la Fecha 2 de la LIGA MX-Apertura 2018.
Xoloitzcuintles Sub 17 cayó por la mínima. Víctor Renovato convirtió el
único tanto del encuentro (76’), con el que los Felinos sumaron 3
unidades. El cuadro Rojinegro se ubica en la sexta posición general, con
3 puntos.
En tanto, la categoría Sub 20 concluyó el encuentro ante los Tigres con
marcador adverso de 2-0. Bryan Reyes (75’) y Luis Cruz (78’) fueron los
anotadores. Los dirigidos por el DT Frankie Oviedo se colocan en la
séptima posición general, con 3 unidades.
Los Canes Aztecas estarán de regreso en la Frontera para preparar su
siguiente compromiso, en el que recibirán al Club León, el próximo
domingo 5 de agosto en la cancha del Estadio Caliente.

XOLOITZCUINTLES YOUTH TEAMS LOSE IN MONTERREY
U17 and U20 squads lose to Tigres UANL
SAN NICOLAS DE LA GARZA, Mexico (July 29, 2018) – Club Tijuana
Xoloitzcuintles Under 17 and Under 20 teams lost to Tigres UANL Saturday
in Week 2 match ups.
The U-17 squad lost 1-0 against the hosts in the LIGA MX 2018 Apertura
match. Victor Renovato scored for Tigres in the 76th minute.
Xoloitzcuintles U17 remains at three points in the standings.
The Under-20 team saw Tigres score second half goals to earn three
points. Bryan Reyes (75th) and Luis Cruz (78th) found the net for the
home side. The Under-20 team also has three points in the standings.
The Xoloitzcuintles youth teams will now return home to host Club Leon
in a Week 3 match Aug. 5 at Estadio Caliente.
