Fernando Arce y Raziel Alba formarán parte del cuerpo técnico
Xoloitzcuintle junto al entrenador colombiano
Tijuana, Baja California, 31 de octubre del 2018._ El estratega
colombiano Franky Oviedo asumió el cargo como Director Técnico de los
Xoloitzcuintles, así lo anunció esta mañana el Director General
Deportivo del Club Tijuana, Ignacio Palou en conferencia de prensa,
junto Fernando Arce, quien será el Auxiliar Técnico del primer equipo
del Club Tijuana.
“Son gente de casa, que tienen mucho tiempo trabajando en la
institución. Esperamos que el buen trabajo que han realizado en las
fuerzas básicas se vea reflejado en estos tres partidos, y que podamos
conseguir la victoria iniciando en Puebla”, indicó Palou.
Oviedo, asumió el cargo este martes, en la práctica vespertina que
llevó a cabo el Conjunto Fronterizo y este miércoles dirigió su segundo
entrenamiento en el Mictlán.
“Mi sueño siempre fue dirigir en Primera División, ahora que se me
presenta la oportunidad la estoy disfrutando al máximo, con mucho
alegría. Somos de casa y conocemos al grupo de jugadores, que han
presentado una excelente disposición. Quiero que sea un equipo que
proponga, queremos empezar con el pie derecho en Puebla”, señaló el
nuevo estratega Xoloitzcuintle.
El cuerpo técnico estará conformado por Fernando Arce como Auxiliar
Técnico y Raziel Alba como Preparador Físico. “Esta será una experiencia
inolvidable que todos queremos aprovechar, no es fácil encontrarte con
una oportunidad como esta, estamos dispuestos y con muchas ganas. Viví
situaciones importantes con el equipo, quiero transmitirles a los
jugadores mis experiencias dentro y fuera de la cancha”, concluyó
Fernando Arce.
La actividad en el campamento Xoloitzcuintle continuará este jueves en
la cancha del Estadio Caliente con una sesión matutina de entrenamiento.

FRANKY OVIEDO, CLUB TIJUANA INTERIM COACH

TIJUANA (Oct. 31, 2018) – Franky Oviedo is the Club Tijuana
Xoloitzcuintles interim head coach. The club announced the move
Wednesday during a news conference at Estadio Caliente.
Club General Manager Ignacio Palou officially presented the Colombian
coach and the rest of the staff that will lead the team for the
remainder of the 2018 Apertura.
Club Tijuana had three LIGA MX matches remaining in the regular season
schedule. Fernando Arce and Raziel Alba join Oviedo in coaching the team
during that span.
“They are from in house,” Palou said of the coaches. “They have been
working here for a long time. We hope that the work they have done with
our youth teams reflects with the first team in these next three games.
Oviedo was the Under-20 team coach this season through Week 14. He led
the first team practice Tuesday.
“My dream has always been to coach in the first division,” Oviedo said
in the news conference. “Now I get that chance and I am enjoying it to
the fullest. I am very happy. We are from in house and we know this
group of players that have given great effort. I want this to be a team
that challenges. We want to start on the right foot in Puebla.
Oviedo’s first task as interim head coach is a road match at Lobos BUAP
Saturday Nov. 3 in Week 15. Arce will be the assistant coach while Alba
is the head fitness trainer.
“This is an unforgettable experience we all want to take advantage of,”
Arce said. “It is not easy to come across an opportunity like this one.
We are very willing to do it with much enthusiasm. I have lived through
important situations with the team. I want to share what I’ve learned
from some of those experiences as a player on and off the field.”
