El Estadio Caliente vibró tras la anotación de Gustavo ‘La Pantera’ Bou al minuto 32 del encuentro, quien aprovechó la salida precipitada del arquero para convertir el 1-0.

CLUB TIJUANA EARNS PLAYOFF SPOT WITH WIN VS. TOLUCA
Xoloitzcuintles 1-0 CD Toluca, LIGA MX Week 17
TIJUANA (April 27, 2018) –Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles is in the playoffs. Gustavo Bou scored in the 33rd minute to give the home side a 1-0 win against visiting CD Toluca Friday at Estadio Caliente.
Bou’s goal gave the Xoloitzcuintles three points in the standings and a spot in the LIGA MX 2018 Clausura quarterfinals. Club Tijuana will play in a home-and-home series against an opponent to be determined after the weekend’s results. The first leg would be at Estadio Caliente midweek and the second leg on the road next weekend.
Coach Diego Cocca, in his first season as Club Tijuana manager and his first time coaching in Mexico, led his team to a 6-4-7 record and 25 points. Toluca finished as the No. 1 seed despite the loss. It had clinched a post season berth prior to Friday’s match. It was also Toluca’s first loss of the season.
The Xoloitzcuintles took the lead when Bou took an errand pass from a Toluca midfielder, dribbled past goalkeeper Luis Garcia and shot a low shot into the open net. Garcia came out too late looking for that errand pass and Bou was alert, sprinting to the ball.
It was Bou’s third goal of the season.
